Controlling decentralized plants – with just a few clicks
We know the various requirement profiles in the field of decentralized energy generation only too well from the automation of over 300 combined heat and power plants. We have used this knowledge to develop HEAT2Efficiency, an individual solution portfolio. All components, hardware as well as software, meet our high HEAT2Efficiency standard and have been tested and optimized in their interaction. The result is a simple and fast project engineering to a functioning system. The engineering phase can be replaced by a configuration in which it is decided which components are required depending on the system type – this saves time and costs.
Maximum supply security through proven technology by SIEMENS
Its industrial approach based on SIMATIC S7-1500 and S7-1200 controllers including a permanently installed Comfort Panel more than meets the demand for maximum supply security and good operability. Furthermore, there is the option of connecting the plant to a higher-level control system via a secure remote dial-in. Via the integrated Profinet interface, decentralized plant components, such as CHPs, can be efficiently connected.

Efficiency means standardization – for this reason, HEAT2Efficiency includes a building block library for decentralized energy generation plants that has grown over the years, in addition to the standardized hardware configuration. The result is high efficiency with minimal failure rates and the short time required for plant commissioning. A good example of cost-effectiveness is the minimization of the cycle frequency of the heat generators through our sophisticated heat storage charging control. In addition to increasing efficiency, it also ensures a longer service life for the plant. Our software also ensures that fault messages are immediately sent to the cell phone of the service technician on duty.
The service technician can then use the secure remote dial-in to check whether immediate action is necessary or whether the fault can be rectified in the course of regular maintenance.

HEAT2Efficiency Advanced is the individually configurable automation solution for large and medium-sized CHP plants. It is suitable for CHP plants that consist of several heat generators, such as boilers and CHP units, a heat storage tank as well as supply networks. In addition, useful options from our modular range can be added as required.
